Sindal is situated right in the heart of Vendsyssel, offering a wealth of opportunities for wonderful cycling experiences.

From the campsite, you have direct access to a varied landscape, featuring a multitude of quiet, low-traffic roads throughout this beautiful area.

You can choose the exact distance and direction that suits you best. Detailed maps and suggested cycling routes are available at the reception/information desk.

A unique option is to combine train travel with cycling.

All trains in the area carry bicycles at no extra cost. Since Sindal serves as a hub for all local train lines, you can easily incorporate the train into your outbound or return journey (or both)—whether you are heading to Skagen, Hirtshals, Vrå, Aalborg, Hjørring, or Frederikshavn.

Furthermore, you can board and alight at various smaller stations and stops along the way.

The Rejsekort app—which is completely free and incredibly user-friendly—allows you to travel by bus, train, metro, and light rail throughout Denmark (available to visitors from abroad as well). Additionally, the free Mit Tog app provides departure information for all stations.
